Coaching Apps

Has anyone got any personal experience from any of the coaching apps that are out there? Mike Dunn, Stephen Hendry and Jimmy White have got t got apps out now that look quite good, but not sure which one to go for, any feedback would be most welcome.

Coaching Apps

I personally bought the "Hendry" & "White" apps.

Hendry's app is the next best thing to have a personal coach, the app is very rich, has a lot of routines for different levels of players.

White's app is not as good, my rating for it would be about 4/10.

Coaching Apps

I have bought all 3 apps.....

And I'd have to say that Stephen Hendry's and Mike Dunn's apps are better then Jimmy White's!!

I was a little disappointed with Jimmy's app cause it was just a few videos and only 2 routines, all thou it does say there is more content to follow.....

Where as Hendry's and Mike Dunn's coaching apps had quite a few routines to practice!!

For iOS users can I ask are you purchasing for iPhone or iPad ?

I have 3 Snooker apps under development at the moment, 2 of which are aimed at the iPhone and iPod Touch but there will also be iPad and Android versions but I have one app which is aimed at just the iPad in the form of a iBook with loads of video and graphics.

Not sure when the apps will be ready yet, still working on the content at the moment and I have also put everything on hold while I finish off Chris Turner's Snooker Archive site, Chris's site has turned out to be a lot more work than first expected.

One of the apps will be for Chris's site, one is a coaching app for beginners to 30 break players and the other is a secret at the moment

Hey guys the Hendry App by far is the best. Really cool animation and up to date with the technology these days, so easy to use and follow.... its cool that Hendry introduces each section and he says everyword...so he is talking you through each routine.

For me the videos of people playing like in Jimmys app is a little harder to follow and understand, no direction on where to hit the white ball etc or show you the shots in detail, where as Hendrys app does just that really cool. Plus there is an in app available with Hendrys if you want more stuff...for me it gives you more and you can learn more from easy to hard routines, what ever level you are at.

Good to see coaching coming along with the technology train.....this is the way forward and its endless what you can do these days with social media....awesome stuff.
