I do everything left handed or left footed. Except I have dabbled at cricket and golf, and I bat/swing a club right handed.I have tried to play golf left handed,, but it just feels horrible and wrong

theres a reason fot that actually when batting you can be a top handed player or a bottom handed player a lot of batsman bat with the other hand bowling and throwing would tell u more about what handed you are if you bat right handed when left handed your a top handed player the top hand being the left

Keep on playing left-handed and don't worry about it. The one thing I've noticed over the years and I don't think it's my imagination, is left-handed players seem to be better long ball potters than right-handers (like me...boo hoo...give me a hanky).

Just on an aside note...for the younger people on here back in the 80's there used to be a program on BBC called 'Spitting Image' (maybe you're getting it on repeats?) and they used to have a puppet who was 'INTERESTING Steve Davis' (a bit sarcastic I think!) along with Maggie Thatcher and all the politicians and the Royals. It was a REALLY funny show and if you can catch it on repeats it's well worth watching. The conservative caucas meetings were a hoot, especially Maggie with her whips and other items of torture along with her cigar and eye patch (or was that Heseltine?).

Interesting Steve would usually do a walk-by in the middle of a scene about something totally unrelated to snooker.

I'm almost the same, but I am opposite of you guys.. I write and do everything with left hand but when comes to playing snooker I am right handed.. I can play left hand as well just not that confident with it.. But weird thing is everyone says I stroke better with left hand.. Anyone thinks I should change to left hand player? or is it my mindset that is negative?

i play snooker right handed but use the rest left handed, i use both a fork and spoon in my left hand. if i used a rifle my right hand would supply the trigger finger. if i play tennis i have the raquet in my left and in cricket my left hand is highest on the bat handle. in all these cases the left hand is providing the accuracy and when two hands are needed the right provides the power or less accurate skill eg using knife...
therefore i believe i am lefthanded in all these tasks and all other descriptions are there just to put the masses in the same group! eg left handed batsmen are really right handed and if you see a right handed person using a fork in their left ask them why? lol
