Hello All you snooker people.
I used to quit snooker for three months in the summers here. However my love for the game has overwhelmed me recently and since this year I am not taking any breaks. So there comes a challenge.
The Summers here are rather hot and temperature can go up to 40-45 Celsius and cause humidity coupled by the fact that my club is in a basement. Now with sweat all around its hard to play with the normal bridge hand. I recently tried a snooker glove but to no use because its feel is rather artificial and the cue sort of glides just too much without any friction and hence I dont feel comfortable. Like with the feel that you get with the hand is great. But if I do play with my hand then the cue wont slide properly due to the summer problem and hence I had to resort to talcum powder they have in the clubs. However, I recently noticed that the powder sort of settles in the grain and it is not good for the cue; so I was wondering for a way out of this problem so that I do not use either the golve or the talcum powder... Can anyone think of anything to help me out here...!!!!
Regards,
Sidd
