OK everyone. I have a challenge from bonoman for a best-of-17 match for 2,000quid where I have to win only one frame from him. If I do he says he will retire (besides paying me the money of course).

As bonoman doesn't appear to suffer from any ego problems I'm sure some of you could get in on this and place some good side bets once the match is finalized. I've offered my match table here at my facility and I'll even re-cloth it before the match.

But it takes more than just looking great to become a champion . Thats why the 50 or so players who you thought were better are just amateurs compared to him .

no pressure but you may need to tell all, most of us on TSF have gotten to know Terry's capabilites from his posts, so many are backing him with that in mind.
No offence () but us on TSF do not know who you are so can not see the true picture (or where to place their bets )
        cheers
        peace

If bonoman is actually ROS then I could be in trouble here, but all it takes is one good long pot and a 70 break to win a frame and I've done that and after all he can't snooker me on every one of his breaks (can he?).

Of course, maybe he's Terry Griffiths or Doug Mountjoy or if not Welsh then maybe it Hendry in disguise? I've played a lot of the pros who are no longer around, won some but lost more to the likes of Steve James, David Roe, Mark Johnson-Allen, Bob Chaperone, Cliff, Kirk, Alain, Martin Clarke, Darren Morgan, Mick Price and a bunch of others.

Jeeze Terry what was it like having to "change" eyes so to speak, was there a long layoff between ? did you go from right eyed to left or were you even sighted ?,it must have been like starting again

                          itsnoteasy:

I was living in the States and hadn't played in years when I had the surgery. In 2005 I returned to Canada and decided to start playing again and I can tell you it was a disaster! My last memories were of running tons in practice and tournaments and in 2005 I couldn't run 3 blacks with any consistency.

I knew something was wrong and that's why I ended up going to Nic Barrow and getting my Master Coach certificate as I figured with no coaches in Canada and no one willing to help a player out I had to be my own coach. I built my retirement home and stuck a BCE Westbury in the basement, got my coaching certificate and proceeded to try and correct the 12 problems Nic had picked up. To tell you the truth I'm still working on some of them (like no rear pause at all).

i can imagine , to me it sounds like it would feel as if you were playing wrong handed, as the sighting would feel that awkward . Why the big gap in playing?(if its not to cheeky a question ) I am glad to see you have the love of the game back, and shows a good bit of character to fight back , nice one fella.

                                What he said! I'm intrigued...

Bonoman1970, if you used to be a pro but only played Mark Williams once then I guess you weren't on the circuit for long? Did you have any success (e.g. make the televised stages of any tournaments)? Why aren't you a pro any more?

Fair play, you talk the talk, is this just a spot of trolling on can you back it up? I hope you get on the first flight to Canada and let Terry record the match with his HD camera so we can all appreicate your rolls royce cue action...
