Hi all,
I am reading "inner game of golf" and try to apply similar things in snooker..
It's so true for me there are two me: self 1 and self 2, or conscious and subconscious
The former one often brings negative impact, i tried hard to not thinking the stance, technique. But in some occasion i can't help to think some silly things during the shot, then miss easy shot or lose control of cue ball...
There are bounce-hit / back-hit-stop approaches introduced in the book... or simply say "da" in certain point to give something for your self 1 to do and stop it from interfering the subconscious one..
I tried to say "da" in front pause, rear pause and when the cue actually hit the white.
It's still in experiment and result is yet to be seen.
Anyone have try similar thing? I read this book as some of you recommend it in this forum.
Any other suggestions on "how to let the subconscious mind take over" (or simply concentration?) is much appreciated
