Can anyone help, I am am struggling with my game here is the problem. When I practice I play really well knocking in 60's, 70's etc but a s soon as I get into a match situation my head goes and I am lucky if I can knock in a 20 it is really starting to get me thrustrated and even got me thinking of packing up and not playing.

There could be a number of reasons for this but whatever it is it seems to be knocking your confidence and maybe your self belief in a match .
Are you playing so well in practice that you expect to do the same in a match and maybe expecting too much or expecting breaks .
Are you not fancying the job just before you get on the table and sort of bottling it before you start .
Its very hard to take your practice form to the match table so you have to accept its a whole new ball game and concentrate on the job in hand , dont expect big breaks and dont put too much pressure on yourself , on the other side of the coin , always fancy the job .

Thanks for the help I always fancy the job but think I put myself under to much pressure so I end up bottling it. I need some self belief and consistency. Was thinking of getting some coaching what do you think. Cheers toppotter
