    Ronnies style has changed over the years, watch his 5:20 147 in 1997 compared to how he plays now, he really didnt have a rear pause at all back then, similar story with hendry.

      I have still been playing quite well without the elbow drop
      Had a couple of 90's in the last week so its seems to be going alright. I guess everyone's own style comes from their natural flow and then on top of that modelling from pro's and coaching tweaks. Just a matter of finding some consistency ! Everyone's problem haha

        i have started playing now without the elbow drop and my pots have improved dramatically.. I guess i was dropping elbow and introducing teh shoulder muscle before hitting the CB and hence missing and playing badly. Will keep concentrating on finding a natural rythym without the severe elbow drop that I had until it becomes natural... for the time being I have to do it intentionally and artificially...LEts see where I go from here onwards.
