8foot snooker tables

Is using an 8foot table and practising on it at home good practise for playing on a 12 foot one or will it hinder my game? Get me used to 8foot instead of 12? just wondering whether to purchuse one or not, any help/advice would help! Thanks, Josh

Completely different game.

It will help in terms of keeping your cue arm going. Providing you get a proper set of match balls you could get a good feel for certain shots.

The negatives are obvious.
