I totally disagree; I have never been to a coach so far but have been here for months... I have seen many things changing and maturing for me in enabling me to become a much better player than I used to be... So different people different opinions- there is also something called natural ability that develops over time with interest and passion... lets not put it on coaches and TSF !!!

That is why Steve Davis once said once he had reached the top that he realised reaching the top wasnt the biggest challenge ... the biggest challenge then was staying there...

A coach should be able to set you off in the right direction and these people all missed a few glaringly obvious flaws with my stance which i only realised was wrong by reading a couple of Terry Davidson's posts so regardless of my ability i can make an opinion based on my own personal experiences and money badly spent.

A good coach wont change too many things at once - or you'd get all confused and get nowhere. A good coach wont change something that isn't actually hindering you - even if it's not "standard" technique. So, perhaps your stance was either not your most pressing problem, or perhaps it was fine as is, or perhaps your coach was rubbish, who knows.
