Hi Warren,
Firstly Sir - I ain't on here to have a go at anyone.
It's just that this sort of negative stuff with my name in the middle of it hacks me off no end.
The people who perpetrate and offer this info on me or friends of mine, know full well that their "inside info" is claptrap at best.
To prove this - I would ask any of them to furnish you with their claims in writing, dated and duly signed by the author.
I can guarantee you right here and now that NONE of them will do so for fear of their malicious lies being proven to emanate from their lying mouths or fall into my hands.
Therefore, I will finish by stating that should you (or anyone else for that matter) wish to believe malicious lies about me (or any individual) without personally knowing me or the facts.
Then knock yourself out. It says more about those willing to lend an ear to rumours and lies than myself!
If you ever wish to speak or meet with me to enable yourself (or anyone else) to form and evaluate "your own" personal opinion, I can be contacted in the first instance at scottishsnooker147@yahoo.co.uk
Or you can all carry on as per your own standards.
Best regards to all sensible and decent folks

Ps back to what this thread should be about:
Jim (Donnelly) one of my best mates in this world, is a fantastic coach and real fun guy.
Jim was the guy I first went to way back in the eighties at Reardons Snooker Centre.
You won't do much better than seek guidance from Jim on your snooker queries.
My advice to anyone would be to experience different reputable coaches, you will learn from almost all of them, and then form your own educated opinion on who you yourself consider to be the best or who clicks with your mindset and thoughts, and then go with that.
I have sought tuition and knowledge through the years from some of the world's best starting with Jim himself, Frank Callan, Terry Griffiths, Wayne Griffiths, Del Hill, Mike Dunn, Nic Barrow, PJ Nolan and every single good or great player I have been fortunate enough to meet or become friends with over the years.
Coaching prices can vary widely, but I have found that within coaching you usually get what you pay for.
I will close by wishing you every success in your quest for snooker knowledge and enlightenment.
All the best.
