throtts ... with respect, you are doing this Nivea Warrior thing all wrong ... don't rub it in, that's for girls ... something like this works well ... http://www.flickr.com/photos/_miless/5852904094/

That advice was really really brilliant. Thank you. I was always thinking that my backswing is slow enough. I have slowed it down even more and with moee attention on cue ball during the pre shot routine, with occasional looks towards the object ball and conract point I made quite serious breaks yestersay... 60 47 45 in 3 consecutive breaks. Dandy, maybe you should try this aswell... pay attention on the cue ball as.much as you like but on the half way of the backswing focus on the object ball... maybe this will work for you too...
thanks for all the excellent advice everyone and well done for those breaks vucko ...

Sighting the cueball is the way to go for myself. The textbook isn't the holy grail. In fact most of the well known coaches will only ever suggest a solution. The game itself has evolved and peoples philosophy develops with it. There are many more ideas around today either by research or personal discovery.

Still convinced watching Higgins play that he is looking at the cue ball until he had got the white but please don't start the war again
