They've recently built their own 'shed' which has 2 more tables in as well as the one in the house and all are very good tables. The weathers pretty chilly up here at the moment but he's also got two huge lakes with tons of fish in that you can fish if you need a break from snooker. Until you've been it's hard to understand the standard of Del's coaching and how brilliant it is there. You'll have a cracking time :snooker:

I disagree with all the comments above. Del is a good coach and you will have to change cue action completely. Dell will tell you how to drive and drop your elbow which is ok on the little shots but on the long pots you will be all over the place. Dropping elbow will make you move on the shots and i know this from personal experience. After Del session my long game was ****ed and it took me 3 months to fixed. I think Terry Griffiths is probably best coach in the game at the moment but he is very expensive and very hard to get hold of him. He has snooker clinic with all the video cameras in the slow motion around your cue action and he will go true with you and tell you what you doing wrong and how to fix the problems you may have. I will not recommend Del for the amateur player. He is good to a pro players who are very good. Mark Selby the latest success from Del's farm. Hope it helps.

How many hours did you have with him?

My long game isn't that good anyway to say the least atm. So I doubt there will be something to f*** up

No, seriously... I need a coach and I always wanted to go see Del because I think he's a good bloke.

I think I will benefit from his coaching as well as the unlimited table time.

Heathrow isn't in London, nor is Gatwick or Stansted or even "London Ashford Airport" aka Lydd airfield (big one though). You'd need to spend a few days in London to get the big city feel.

alright, if we shall get anal... I will go from Heathrow to Paddington, King's Cross and then northwards.

And I think I myself know best how long I have to be in London to get a "big city feel". I have been there a couple of times.

          Pointless post that was...

My apologies, your earlier posts suggested you didn't have a clue how to get there easily and choosing Heathrow does add time and money to the journey, enjoy your week though, even if the weather goes cold again worse places to be stuck.

I apologise for getting you wrong sberry. I have been to London and the Kent/Sussex area a couple of times and know my ways around there.

This had been why I was so surprised that there were only poorish connections to Skegness/Wainfleet.

I know also that Heathrow is not the quickest/cheapest option if you really have a choice. Unfortunately, as I earlier said, travelling from Switzerland to say EMA isn't possible directly. And, furthermore, I like being in London. This is why I preferred Heathrow over Machester, because at least I'll be travelling through London this way.

People are 10 years out of date up here, not the likes of Del but in general lol :snooker:

Lol, I can assure you I'm not; I just live near by and happen to go round for coaching and practice with his son, Tom. You never know, you and I might have a few frames! :snooker:

Well I'm there from Feb 19 (evening) to 25.

If Del agrees with that, I will too of course.

That's unfortunate... Well, maybe another time then.
