1) I have noticed my grip is beyond 90 degrees
2) I think I could stay down on the shot longer after striking cue ball
3) I think I should slow down my final back swing.
Improvements have been good after 1 session with Tim Dunkley in Chandlers Ford a few weeks ago and 4 sessions with Andrew Highfield up in West Mids about 7 months ago.
Past two months have seen me hit 70, 78, 80, 88, 85 clearance, loads of 50s, 60s.

Yeah just turned phone camera on and started potting really. Wasn't any pre-contrived idea. Just wanted to see how I was hitting them from a 3rd person view before my match tonight.
I play at St James' Bournemouth. The lights were my idea. The particular light was recommended on this very forum

Looks a nice club. What's volts and how many tubes are in the whole light?
Can you tape your match and put it up?

Not much of a player myself but noticed a few things in your action:
1. You need to move your cueing hand in a little as it's a bit too far down the cue.
2. You drop your back arm a little when cueing the ball and almost pull the cue back up and down again before getting the tip through the cue ball. It's hard to explain so sorry if I'm talking riddles, just ignore me lol.
3. Feather and pull the cue back very quickly, slowing that down might help.
4. Maybe try not to pull the cue back so far when you're about to cue through the white on final delivery when just playing little shots around the black spot etc.
5. Nice lights lol
Great player to be fair, if the way you cue works and you're consistently happy with your game then don't change it :snooker:"You have to play the game like it means nothing, when in fact it means everything to you" Steve Davis.

Yeah it's a private club has #10 cloth just fitted and those bulbs are high frequency natural light. 2x6ft with two runs in each. Gives a night light distribution. They were brighter before on the table but we have raised them up another 12 inches or so for more clearance.
