Great news! I had a phone call at 9.20pm tonight from a chap who had found my cue. I went straight over to the club and picked it up. It is now safely tucked up in its case. I will give him a few pints when i see him on saturday. I won't be making the same mistake again, you can count on it.

I once made a nice break in a league match and decided to leave my 1 piece John Parris cue under the table in the club and go out around town for a few drinks with the clubs barmaid who was on a night off. When I next went back to the club a few days later the cue had gone - been stolen. Never seen it from this day to the next.

I still miss that barmaid.
