  • Is it possible?

    Quick question for you all,
Me and me lad was at the club earlier and just before we was leaving we tried just using the white ball trying to hit all six cushions with one shot we only managed five cushions after trying for half hour!.
Now I'm pretty sure it can be done ??
We even looked on you tube to see if there was a video but could not find one.
Maybe someone could explain or know of a video?
    Cheers.

Maybe start on green spot and hit towards opposite side cushion a couple of feet above black pocket, off that cushion onto top cushion, across back to green side cushion, then onto baulk cushion, onto yellow side cushion and finally onto last side cushion ???? might work lol

I remember, a local coach doing this as a sort of challenge with the junior players after a coaching session. I never saw how it was played but I'd say that playing with power, close to the first cushion would be a start.

Easiest way to do it is put the white on the black spot and hit the yellow side cush hard with lots of right hand side. If hit correctly, cue ball will go off 5 cushions and very close to rolling into the green pocket.. However if it misses the green pocket which it likely will it will bounce off the final cushion

Ill have to try that , although I think it will be hard to get that angle from four to five cushion , as when we were doing this the white always seems to check up on the fifth cushion.
          Cheers

Yellow spot, lots of right hand side just past the middle (green side) will hit 6

Tried this down the club tonight and got it on my third attempt. Played the white from off the green spot, hitting the yellow-side cushion halfway between the baulk line and corner pocket with lots of right hand side. Unless you're playing on a really slow table with dead cushions, it shouldn't be a problem.
