For anyone who thinks he is actually joking I would say from experience this is probably true. I got drunk under the table that many times it took me a while to actually recover. I was shaking for weeks. Friendly people though and it was not just the one party it seemed like it was the whole street and I can testify that after that week there will always be a part of me that belongs to Scotland.

Update, I feel I have been playing well in practice, but you can't tell. On your own, got to play a couple of frames against one of the top players in our club yesterday, lost first easily, should have won second , missed brown for game, then only needed pink, potted a lovely thin half ball from baulk into bottom green bag, pink only for the white to go in off in the middle yellow side grr, ended up losing, would have been my best scalp so far.
Put new MW tip on today, played like a numpty for half hour(not the tips fault I like that )went back to proper full shot routine got it back thank god, so happy days.

Keep it up mate sounds like you are progressing really well. Remember what I told you, you are a very good standard for only playing the game for a year or so, keep doing the same things and you will keep improving nicely.

Wish I had ,had a go at this game in my early twenties, when I could see the end of the table clearly, and my back was ok, think I could have made a decent club player.
Thanks Chris, I am really trying hard, in first frame I rushed a bit, sometimes when playing the good players I feel I am just in the way, lol, second frame I buckled down and tried flat out.

At the club they have put up a poster of you advertising coaching, don't know when the photo was taken ,but it must have been in your hay day as you are cueing bang on centre chin and square on with the eyes. Reckon you had just potted a long one lol.
Got promoted to number two (you have to play in order of ability to stop arguing)in the billiards team last night , we play first to one hundred, I was thirty or forty up, ended up winning by twenty nine. I can't play really but I can keep potting the red lol.

Tell v max then cos he didnt believe me that I was centre chin even although I was left eye dominant as I wanted to use both my eyes. Post it up in the sighting thread though jim. Cheers mate

It's the first thing I noticed as right beside that poster is the article about you trying to do the tour of Scotland for the youngsters, you could tell the picture used on that article was from later as your centre chin but your head is definitely turned, whereas on the poster eyes are bang on either side, it's quite noticeable , the sheer determination hasn't wavered though it burns as fierce in both photos. I would take a pic of both and post them up but I haven't a clue how to do it.

Went to see Lee Walker last night and i have flaws that i did,nt know i had but need to tackle them if i am going to improve my game to make me more consistent instead of the roller coaster ride it is now .
Think i need a magician rather than a coach so i,ll be in touch soon Chris to arrange our session .

My thoughts exactly. I'm finding I am very inconsistent and my own self coaching doesn't seem to be working, even with the video analysis. I think a player needs another set of expert eyes to determine where he's going wrong. I think Chris will really help you out.
