I have purchased a 3/4 table about 18 months ago, it came with a package of cues, 57inch with 11mm screw tips. I now want to buy a new cue that is weighted slightly more in the shaft rather than the butt. Is a screw tip better than a glued one?

Thank you for the prompt reply Jim. I mainly play snooker, because it is a 3/4 table, there are only 10 reds at 2inch. I was thinking of no smaller than 9mm tip and no larger than 11mm. what are the best tips for a very average amateur?Comment
