Hi. I'm having trouble with the chin contact. When I get down on my shot everything falls into place and the cue touches the chin. When It comes to actually hitting the cue ball I'm trying to concentrate and keep the cue on my chin but the pressure seems to knock the cue off its straight line. It does do this during feathering sometimes too. It's a similar feeling that happens if your bridge is sticky and you use a vanished cue. I Make sure I keep everything as still as possible when taking a shot but this doesn't seem to help. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.

Forcing the cue on the chin.

As far as I'm aware you shouldn't be forcing your chin against the cue. JH does this somewhat but no one else (to my knowledge). The chin should just be resting on the cue therefore not influencing the stroke. Depending on your action and whether you have an elbow drop will determine whether the chin will be in contact with the cue upon forward stroke. Feel free to correct me though.
