  • Cleared the colours for the first time today.

It was in practice today. Finished with a small break and then cleared all the colours for the first time ever. I know it's small potatoes for a lot of folks but it was a big deal for me. I couldn't quite believe it when the black went in.

It does show you. Keep on practising and you will eventually get results.

    well done cyber!
they were all on their spots?
small potatoes maybe but I think this is a major achievement and huge sense of satisfaction for most "average club" player and a confidence booster
I still remember the first time I did the colours off their spots

One of those annoying little things you can spend ages trying to get right.

I bet you'll find it easier to do now, though

Well done mate. In most games at a lower level its very rare all the colours are on their spots at the end ha ha.

Keep potting off the spots, then when you are confident enough move all the colours to different spots, shake things up abit

Well it was in practise. I just did a scattering of reds on the table and all the colours on there spots. I was lucky that when I potted the last red the colours were still on their spots.

Well done Cyber ! I thought i would be able to do this in practice reasonably easy the other day, until i actually tried it ! I actually found it really difficult. What occurred to me when trying it was what good practice it was for learning position and even more so, pace !. I suggest you keep practising it. Pot the colours off there spots and when you get to the pink, try to leave an angle on the black to get back to the yellow, then carry it on, and keep going until you miss ! well done.

I tried today. I couldn't manage it once. Will try again tomorrow. It's pretty hard at my level.
