Can you see the angle for the 3/4, 1/2 and 1/4? A, B or C?
I am pretty sure 3/4 ball is A, 1/2 ball is C and 1/4 ball (not so sure) is C (or B). Trying to make my last answer look a bit like a B/C.
My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins. I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)
I can't see the point in knowing if it's half ball or whatever, you do not always get a position where someone can say "that's a half ball shot" !!!
You need to select the correct angle to pot the shot for every individual case

Its not easy, wasn't until I tried to keep beating my consecutive blacks score that I saw the potential of knowing these standard angles. Yes its machine like, but in a way that's what needs to be replicated to play good stuff most of the time.
Couldn't agree with you more J6, I never used this technique at all I just picked a point on the ob , but now I use it to get the shot lined up and then hone in on that exact potting point, so I suppose I use two methods lol, it hasn't half made a difference.
Is it not a,b,a? No wonder I didn't use it lol. Or b,b,a , how many combos are there 27. I'll get there in the end .
Hold on a min, is it three bs, I'm nothing if not a trier.

To me 3/4 A looks too thin, B for me, halfball again c looks just a bit thin, you can see more than half the black so it's a or b, it's seems very close to me but still looks like b to me, and I will be honest and say I would have gone c for 1/4 ball but I know that's wrong lol, so last go I will go A, this is me really trying now lol, if it's not right I'm just going to throw letters out at random.
Well done Cantpot that's very interesting I picked all three too thick, and when I miss 99 percent of the time it's too thick. I still think halfball is b lol. Thanks for that J6 I enjoyed that.
