I guess you mean cue ball, not object ball ?? and ball goes to right, not left, if those shots are dead straight and you are potting the pinks (actually reds lol) then no way you could do that every time, move camera so we can see the pocket too, i bet they are not straight pots !!!
Edit, unless you are potting the balls into the corner of the pocket ??Last edited by jrc750; 24 December 2013, 08:31 PM.

No. He means the object ball keeps going to the left. Which it does from his point of view.WPBSA Level 2 - 1st4Sport Coach

Seriously though - it is alighnment again your cue is not locked in either and as you cue you are pusing it across the line.
All these coaches and you cant cue straight yet - I'm shocked!
Get your chin down on your cue and lock it in properly so you feel it at the side of your chest as you feather - if you cant do that - medical or otherwise then there is not much point getting down on the shot at all because you aint doing it right yet.
Try imagining that your cue is going right through the white and- push the cue through - dont stop or jab or over grip the cue - keep it nice and smooth and head still - if you keep the cue pressed under your chin it acts as a guide you can feel - and if it brushes your chest it helps keep everything more consistent so you dont cue across it like this - Try aiming your the tip at the pocket or a imaginery line or point or line that runs through the back of the object ball - cured - good now switch off like me and have a Merry Christmas Les.

It's such a tough shot you're playing there Les anyway. If I was in the middle of a break and I left the white there I wouldn't be too happy.WPBSA Level 2 - 1st4Sport Coach

Try lining up the cue standing up with bridge addressing cue ball centre and lower yourself down without moving the cue. Keep back hand nice and loose and see if there is any improvement.

Les:
Two 'first of all points'. First of all, move to the other side of the table since you're a lefty and also put the cueball no more than 18" from the pink and straight in so you have a hand on the table shot.
Secondly...we cannot see dick-all on the video (or at least not much). Get the camera set up so it covers from the top of your left elbow to 6" in front of the cueball.
Thirdly...I thought we had this corrected and I know I mentioned it a couple of times...FOR CHRIST'S SAKE GET YOUR FREAKIN' CUE AGAINST YOUR CHEST AND CHIN (if you can). This was mentioned above yet again.
Fourthly...not to be too picky about Cliff's idea about lining up to the right but this is correcting one fault using another fault and is not the best idea plus the amount of off-set will change with different lengths and different power.
Fifthly...you are bringing the butt of the cue into the chest and hitting right-to-left every time. See thirdly above to correct this.
You had better get up here this Friday so I can beat these simple things into your head once and for all.
