OK I went in last night and did some measurements to be exact.
My cue is 57 1/2 inches long and weighs 19 Oz.
And something funny happened. I played quite OK to be honest. I played 9 frames and won 8. No big breaks but a 30 odd and a few 20 odds. I am not sure if I was dropping the elbow or not at that time but then I played really well. I am also experiencing pain in both my shoulders now ... the bridge arm as well as the cueing arm.
I still think I need a longer cue but am just thinking what if I get a new longer cue that is like 60 inches and even then the fault is not of the cue and my technique ??? Because getting a new cue for me is not an easy route. I have to sell off mine and get the new one from UK which is both time taking and costly.
I have no idea...
