I always thought that BOB and GHOST BALL sighting are the same, just explained differently is that correct or not?.

I always thought that BOB and GHOST BALL sighting are the same, just explained differently is that correct or not?.

They both deal with using the contact point as a reference point. Only main difference is with ghost ball method you imagine a white ball (ghost ball) at the given contact point, and aim for the center of that ghost ball.. And with BOB (Back of Ball) you pay particular attention to the contact point and your brain will automatically adjust for that angle.
