  • Distance from hip to cue.

What should be the distance from the hip to the cue? There is about a 7 inch gap from my hip to my cue and have been struggling for a while now so i thought that might be an issue.

I play with my chest on the cue if that helps.

7 inches is a bit too much .... 4 inches is great but then it all depends on comfort ... try not to swing too much on the hip if you do.

Sidd mate, don't get other people tinkering, you know what it did to you.
Different strokes for different folks, depends on body size, arm length, height, sighting between the eyes and placement of the cue on the line of aim according to dominant eye or not. You can't just take a single measurement out of context with the rest of what is needed from your stance to cue accurately according to your physical needs.
