    World championships starts on saturday. Try and keep count just how often players muck up easy position when in the balls, muck up regulation colours on their spots clearances, hit safety shots too thick or thin, miss easy pots, get the wrong side of the blue etc etc and all by more that just an inch. Then when snookered they have to be at their 100% best for every attempt.

    Look out also for situations where snookers are required and the referee can't call a miss and just how many fouls are made when the pro doesn't hit the ball on.

    I think you have a far greater regard for pro players abilties than is actually the case.
