My problem is transferring the line to the back of BOB and focusing on it so there for my eyes wander and most shots I find I am not sure what I was looking at impact. Do you have suggestions on how to see a spot on BOB?
You don't see a spot on the object ball Les, you look at the where the cue ball will overlap the object ball on contact to make the pot and keep that area in your vision, not the actual tiny contact point and not the whole ball.

the oval shape shown by the dotted line around the red spot contact point.

This is the third time I've posted this, I'm going to stop now, same message over and over, not getting through, that's enough.

So you play 4 days a week for 4-5 hours?

well the 2 days playing, we have so many who want to play we have to take terms (we have 1 table) so over the 4 hours or so I would probably get 1 hour max, and its not singles either we have to play doubles which doesn't help

Basically you don't play enough then. You can't possibly get good at a really difficult skill when you only do it twice a week.

The other 2 days are just wasted time (in terms of actually trying to improve and get better).

agree totally, however that's all I can do at the moment, I am hoping I can add another day but convincing the misses will be tough. she thinks I play too much as it is, I will need to come up with some sort of cunning excuse...lol

Haha! Yeah it's really tough trying to fit in the practice with life going on as well.

You've seen some good improvement though in the last year, so keep it up and enjoy the game!

Simple solution put a table in your home. That solves everything...

Hah! Les...you need to go to Britain and see the average person's house over there. They could probably fit a 6ft table in the sitting room. When I lived in Leicester my front lawn was smaller than a 12ft table and I would have been squeezed for cueing room if I had a shed in the back yard with a 12footer in it.

It reminds me of a old Steptoe and Son episode. A classic. Go to 1:14.

I wish, Who do u think I am, Bill Gates...lol

Us Yorkshire folk are working class , can't afford the luxury some on here have.
Plus size if houses here are ridiculous, i would need an extention built.

Would be nice though .. It will just have to be a dream

I reckon I would spend just as much time in the club as I do now, even with my own table, I love it down the club, the only difference would be when I returned home I would be straight on my own table , so I would be playing six hours a day every day.

Brilliant episode of the best UK sitcom ever written, or was it Fawlty Towers. " Racket ? that's Brahms......................Brahms third racket" !!!!

But the greatest comedy line ever was this
