    You look good pal.

What j6 says really. You over complicate things positionally.

practice with better players and you'll learn what shots to play and when... Your technique is good so you will not be embarrassed.

but in the words of columbo 'just one more thing.. what do you make of these routines? http://fergalobrien.ie/practice.html
I think they are all good. Practice routines are crucial to get fundamentals down.

good questions, J6UK I like the way you think, reminds me of my supervisor at Uni, whenever I stated something he responded with a question to why I thought that way.

it made me think more carefully to what I said to him, I would always have 2 or 3 backup scenarios to any argument.

probably better next time your videoing your practice do it after maybe one hours warm up not 6hrs.
but you look like you could be a really nice player and technique wise its all there. i really like your one or two feathers, slow back and let the cue go, could see maybe your follow through being a bit more dynamic but you had been on there for six hours so..
i could see by your shot selection that your breaks are still quite low. you played a lot of pinks and one black when it it could of been the other way around. instead of playing that last red that you missed into the middle, you had four reds and blacks there below the pink asking to be potted.
how long have you been playing and how often do you practice?
What is a dynamic follow through J6UK?

                        Some pointers?

There have been a few people's actions that I could have described as dynamic for very different reasons

Yep once I've found your missing post......I am sure there was another one explaining where you had learned this term.

                            Why did you delete it?

so, I guess the general consensus is, Jono.... technique wise you're pretty damn good!

Go and practice with better players and ask questions while you play. You'll improve tremendously just by doing that!
