I'm not sure he was, I have just downloaded the app and can see from the routines in particular the beginner and the intermediate ones they are the same routines Gary baldery a coach at the Star Snooker Academy shows me to practice.

I see Ding is wearing the star snooker academy polo and is at the academy too. I wouldn't be surprised that he developed it with Gary either that or took the ideas from Gary who was his coach and manager for many years, till 2013.

I will ask Gary next time I am at the academy

I can't find the app, it just says no results for the official ding junhui snooker master class snooker practice.
Found it, couldn't find it on the App Store, but googled it and found it that way.

I actually have both aps - the content is totally different on the Jimmy White one and sorry - love Jimmy - but its nothing like as good as the Ding one and a bit poo in comparison actually although they could update the content down the line.

I don't know if this might help anyone but I been told the Ding Juhui ap was originally done by a player/coach called Mike Dunn - and I think it was renamed - so I was thinking there might be a ap under Mike Dunn coaching on android with the same routines on?

Failing that peeps get the new i phone 6 -

Might be a idea for ferret to make a TSF snooker ap - he is good at that IT stuff and bet he could do a better job?

For the lads with android, don't worry you are missing out on absolutely nothing, it is just a list of practice routines, some don't even have explanations as to what to do, and all will be on sites on the internet, it's not like you get footage of Ding doing them or even a commentary or computer graphics showing them getting done(most of them are self explanatory ) unless I'm doing it wrong.
Cheers Ramon ,I did try just typing in Dings name but it didn't show up, that's strange, I got two snooker video channels and cue tracker app show up, that's it.

Getting back to the original best practices exercises for beginner - white lies are good

Golden rule - turn your phone off and never speak or text your girl on your mobile from a snooker club - tell her they have really bad reception in there if she asks.

Result - better concentration - more playing time and less harassment.

well, I type the name of Ding, in the search box of the app store on my phone (not PC or I pad), and he does show up. ! Strange. !!!
Anyway, you got him, that's the idea. Nice instructions. In my opinion, not only for inexperienced players, but for everyone.

I typed in Snooker Coaching and it came up in the App store via the search engine.

Seems like a good App for free with some excellent routines to master for a player of any level.

Stephen Hendry also has a " Snooker masterclass " App but it is close to $7 and it is not that much different from the Ding one from what i can see just a few more bells and whistles.
If it is called " Common sense " why is it so rare???
