I've always played with the cue quite high up on my chest. Rather than my chest resting on the cue, I sort of pull the cue into my chest. I think I did it as a kid to limit sideways movement of the cue whilst addressing the cue ball and through delivery. It makes for a very high elbow, and the cue is almost into the armpit region.
I'm starting to have doubts about it though when I watch top players play. They seem to have the chest almost on top of the cue with it contacting around the nipple area. I'm a 70-80 break standard on an average day, and a 100 break player if I have my Weetabix in the morning, so is it really something I should be bothered about?
