Lately, I put solo hours only, about 5 to 7 per week or so. Shockingly little, would love to do far more if time permitted.
I don't find practising tiring one little bit. Maybe it is better I did not start with snooker when very young...It is scary when I think about it...most likely I would have neglected everything else in life...:snooker:

Most of all focus and have fun with it.
There may be something in keeping hydrated and me losing focus. I like the colours on different spots I will try that thanks.

Can't see this being very useful at all, better off putting them on correct spots and clearing them till it's second nature.
If it's too easy then surely something better than a "false" setup is preferable ??

You are getting lazy so if you don't mind I'll set you a target or two then before Christmas - you must clear the line up right -

Go to the club - follow luke H guidance on hydration and have a breakfast or small dinner not too much to eat though before you go and try to sleep well and don't go on internet too much or watch late night TV - Go bright and early to your club and clean table and set up the line up and do it for an hour - don't count the break

If you miss a shot you must set up the same shot and repeat it until you pot it three times before you are allowed to set up the line up again.

After an hour you must have a break and some water and a sit down for ten minutes - then do it all again - and so on for five hours. If you manage to clear up to the colours you can have an extra break something to eat or a pint - or a cup of tea - otherwise noting until you leave the club.

Every night before you leave the club you must practice five times on clearing the colours -

Do it for a week or two or three up until I win the bet or you do.

You clear the line up and as I know you are honest I will believe you and I will send you a free snooker related Christmas present to your club or home - deal?

Deal, if I was going to lie about clearing it I would have done it by now, when I'm good enough it will happen, but this just might concentrate my mind.

I remember when I first started and spent a very long practice session just potting the black, maybe start off with potting 20 in go then 50 then eventually 100 it's very boring and you will become lazy, but it's fantastic practice IMHO and one of the best routines available.

Its probably not at all usefull to the 100 break players but to people who play and knock colours off the spots it helps by making you think about how you go about getting to your next shot....how many amateur games do colours stay on there spots...not many at all.

Its one of the best there is, there's a lot of nerves around the black, like it means so many more points that people just forget how to cue it correctly. this helps a massive amount.

Geez, if they were fighting over a pair of undies, they must have been killing each other in the shoe department.

We don't have 'Black Friday' here in Sydney, instead people go crazy for more garbage the day after Christmas (Boxing Day Sales). I can't think of anything worse than going shopping when I am hung over. Hell, I don't like it at the best of times.

Hmmm, maybe if Trevor White was giving away cues I would camp out overnight.

My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
                                I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)
