I did buy a set when I first moved back to Canada from a regular optician and that would have been around 2005 and I believe they cost me $180 so god knows what they cost these days.
BUT...they are well worth the investment if your vision needs improving for snooker. Gas permeable are easy to fit and comfortable after about 4 hours of wear initially and then you get to the point where you forget they're in there. Visual acuity is actually better than glasses and you can have them prescribed for 20/20 or even 20/15 if you like.Terry Davidson
