Yes I found the same thing. I hope to get back on my table this afternoon.

    • Good little routine this one as there's less margin for error than you think...

Might be nice to see if you can step it up to 3 reds before the end of the week.

Pottr your way behind.... I ran five yesterday with perfect shape and Alabadi ran 4. Great routine. I found out quickly how the cue ball reacts off the cushion coming back out for the blue. I spent the first half hour learning.

        • I find routines with less reds harder because of the precise position you need to get on them. When there are more reds you can be slightly out on your original choice and still have good position on an adjacent one.

How many times has anyone started a routine like the lineup or 15 reds and at the start been easy until u get down to the last 2-3 reds then u find it more difficult.

This is why I prefer doing 5-6 reds lineup with colours rather than a full one, at least until I'm comfortable then I will add more.

Same with this exercise the 2 reds and blues, running them once is easy but repeating it back to back gets trickier. I'm on 3 in a row now. Im hoping to get 5+ by the end of the week

                    • But you have been there, it's not something you will forget or get muddled up, like me it will have been a big step on your snooker life, I can remember the lad I played (Andy Bell) being more pleased than me that I did it, it's nice to remember who you were playing and taking that next step, It's something that will stay with you forever ,a cherished memory, don't you think.

I just wish I had better quality players to practice with more often

Yes for sure. I was playing my youngest son and my partner, they where taking two shots to my one. They left me in the balls and I ran five blacks and two blues. The minute they left I posted it on the TSF and text Cliff. Cliff called me around midnight the same night to talk about it and to make sure I never forget that moment because that moment will happen again and maybe you will look for more balls to free up next time. I ran out of reds in the open and that was the end of my break, 52 I just made it.

Wow. I have to ask. As one married man to another. How do you fit it in. What does your typical week look like?

That's great, I get in about 18 hours of solo practice and maybe 2 hours of match. That is my biggest problem, that is why coach TD told me to play a couple tough matches against myself at the end of each practice. This Les guy I am practicing with has a good safety game so I have trouble getting in the balls. Usually takes a long put to start it off....
