We don't find out until Sunday. I will be jumping into something before I master the colour clearance.

As I suggested earlier I believe he should stick to the same theme which is the colours still but this time use a cushion after each pot. It's a slightly harder task but this will need better ball control.

Then next one even tougher, no cushions to be played, you will need really good position for this.

Stun instead of slow roll? Not taking eternity on a shot? What happened here?

Leave it out, clearing the colours without hitting the cushions is the simplest way to clear them.

I agree, as soon as you start using cushions the ball travels further and hence more opportunity to go astray, i much prefer to stun/screw my way around

                  How's this.

Week one - Clear the colours. x 2.
Week two - Pot black aiming to get position on yellow and clear the colours. x 2.
Week three - Pot red and black and then all the colours. x 2.
Week four - 2 reds, two blacks and all the colours. x 2.

Can you see where I'm heading with this. By week 5 you'll be making a 50+ break and clearing all the colours

Hmmmm. Sounds like we're shooting off a bit too complicated for me.

I'm very reluctant to rush things, because the idea is to set some targets that can be achieved, but will still require some effort. As soon as people can't achieve the challenge, they'll get bored and stop trying.

                    But that's just my opinion.

4 reds 4 blacks x 2 for next week would be a challenge for him. It's not to difficult and will teach him to finish high and use the black cushion.

WEEK ONE - BONUS CHALLENGE: Clear the colours off their spots, then straight after, try again and see how far you can get.

The task this time, is to clear the colours, then replace all the colours back on their spots again. Obviously to master this challenge, you will achieve back to back clearances, but the main purpose is just to see how far you can get. So example: Clear up, replace all the colours and put the white where you want for your second go, and you might manage to get to the blue. That would be your best so far, but obviously you can keep trying to improve and beat your personal best.

I hope that's easy enough to understand. Good luck!

Yes I understand. I will be onto that tomorrow. Hard to believe I am thinking on clearing the colours twice in a row when last week I spent a 1/2 hour and never got by the Brown....LOL
