    • If I could send you a box full I would Les, because that my friend was excellent, from where you were a few weeks ago to this, is a fantastic leap forward, I notice you have a chest contact now as well. Full credit to you, and Ted for getting some structure into your practice, but mainly to you, I hope this is you on your way now, no more getting down, onwards and upwards.
This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

Always....LOL Maybe I have been watching Cliff too much and TD as much as TD tries to lengthen my backswing it does not feel right but I keep trying. I have lengthened my back swing for long power shots. Cliff explains these shots like little chip shots. He says do the same as you do on the golf course. When Cliff, Floyd, my so and I played golf last summer he could not believe the way I could maneuver the ball around from 30 yards and in and like he said not once did I see you take a full swing. Short and power through. I will see Cliff, Floyd and Kirk in action this coming week.

Now I think you are picking on me but I can take it. Here are a couple more videos I took this afternoon. I will move on to the colour clearance tomorrow. Ted should have my new challenge up. Still not perfect by any means.

                        • Genuine question Les, do you have a clear picture in your head where you want the White to go and how you are going to strike it to get it there, ( at what height and at what pace)it looks to me you have a vague idea but decide on the shot once you are down,or am I wrong?

Great Question. I have a pretty idea but still find it hard to set my mind before I get down and then I run the cue ball too far or not far enough or I stun it when I want a slight screw. Most of the shots I made into the side was because I either left a dead in black or I was too low. These routines are really starting to teach me plus I am realizing why my normal high break in a match is normally in the teens. When I play my Son I get lots of chances but I have seen me make a red and leave myself on the wrong side of the black and break is over give me 8...

                            • yep its not easy but it is important to have that clear picture. It's how you learn shots, but again it will only come if you practice this as part of a pre shot routine, it takes a while at the start but it becomes second nature. I don't know about others but I can still miss a dolly shot if I get down and I'm in two minds what to do, I have to have a clear mind.

I understand you completely. With these routines you learn quick just making balls will not work as you must no where you want the cue ball to finish in order to make your next shot and it just keeps repeating.
