So I went to the club yesterday. Hadn't played for a week. I felt like a beginner.
I managed:-
- 4 reds 4 blacks. lots of times got down to the final red or black and missed. Finally completed it.
- Clearance - Once again. Got down the to final black twice and missed. I'm getting much better at this. If I could nail brown to blue I'd be golden on this. I did complete it.
I didn't manage:-
- 4 red T. I don't know why. I just couldn't get my position right. Will try again today.
One other thing. I overheard one guy talking to another guy asking him if I was a professional. I did laugh.Last edited by cyberheater; 12 February 2015, 09:05 AM.

Also did blacks off it's spot. I think I got to around 12 or so. But time was running out.
I think I might start with black off it's spots. It's a good exercise to get your eye in. Here's what I'm going to be trying next time.
Black off it's spots - 30 mins.
4 reds, 4 blacks & 4 red T. Ideally. I like to get position off the last black to get onto the yellow and do a clearance from both these exercises.
Clear the colours.
Black off it's spots to finish.

I have been calling everyone to try and get a good match but no luck.they either have no licence, no car, no money or they don't want to drive more then 10 minutes. I need a month vacation in the UK where I can go down to the local Snooker Club for some games. The only one we have that is any good is an hour n half one way with no traffic.
If you can find the time I am not going to the world's this year and a 3-week vacation to the UK could be on the books. I was thinking about going to the Star Academy in Sheffield as they offer a pretty good deal for overseas players, something like around 50GBP per day including accommodation and all day practice but buy your own food. They will also pick up players from the airport and have transportation between accommodations and Academy.
I've done this twice at the Southwest Academy and you get a lot of practice, sometimes with good playersTerry Davidson
