Nope. After the big mess a couple days ago and being told I was wasting my time with videos every five seconds I figured I better just go about my challenges on my own and report back with my results. What you can't see you cannot give downgrading comments. Thought maybe it would keep our posts more on target.

I will tell you one thing this is by far the toughest challenge. I would love to see any good player post a video where he drops a cue ball down and goes on indefinatley as Pottr says he can do. I believe him I would just like to see how they do it. Am I missing sharp angle pits that they would miss or are they always perfect.

    • It's about staying in perfect position really. The better players just literally won't play a bad positional shot.

I'll see if I get chance to do one tomorrow before everyone arrives at my club, although I don't think it will teach you a lot really. You just need to learn to really keep that white on a string yourself.

You make it sound so easy. Why is it so tough? I will not be happy if I cannot get to my goal of 30. I really thought that was a reachable goal. The guy that put in my second table told me two years ago don't worry about any other practice just pot blacks off the spot and when you get to 200 you will be a player. I think he was right.

I know you did I set my goal at 30 and thought if I hit 50 I will be really doing good but now 20 is looking good.

It's fine to land straight and correct it within a couple of shots.

also, in the second video (the only one I watched) and I didn't count but the chap only managed about 3 perfectly straight screw backs in a row before he lost (straight) position and played a different shot ... and also I think being able to screw back perfectly straight is a skill well worth having and so worth practicing ...

maybe the posters who think it's too easy would like to post videos of them doing say 50 in a row ... I'm not saying it can't be done but I think it would help us less accurate players learn ...
