if i was the top world snooker coach and my student who was an international landed straight on a black he'd get a double vodka down his neck

So i take it this is for practice purposes only then Jason ?? ie in a match surely it's best to keep things as simple as possible ? you can still do things with a straight black

All depends where the next red is tho ?? i got my (measly by your's and J's standard) 64 break by using gentle stuns and screws etc, don't think i used a cushion more than twice

yeah our lad, you can only go forwards and that aint gonna help unless you've got a mad one in the center. otherwise is straight back maybe with some side, and no one likes that one when your trying to win a frame in one visit

iv made tons of frame winners without a cush, tho normally around the best scoring ball on the table, the rinky dink

rubergs an international player and a nice one. pj's not doing it proper imo. if that cup cake landed straight i wouldn't get the black out for him, if he wanted to carry on id say get it out yourself

why is that funny? I think being able to screw back perfectly accurately is a very important skill in cue sports - it demonstrates that you've aimed correctly and delivered the cue very accurately ... we're not trying to hit a 147 here, we're practicing potting blacks keeping good position ...

so in that case we should be practicing potting 2 and only 2 blacks in a row ... the first one being a free ball after a foul snooker and the second one being a black ... there's no circumstance in a match that could need a player to pot more than 2 blacks in a row that I can think of ...

in this scenario, screwing back dead straight off the first free ball black and then potting the second black is ideal ...
