Can't do it. Anything that can give me pain in my shoulders is just by trying to stretch out my bridge arm closet to the CB and yet keep my cue arm parallel and then keep my body slanted a touch backwards so that I can still get down over the cue. If I can get 3 to 4" backswing with a good solid follow through i will be happy. It's hard to explain what I have to work with. I go on the 23rd of this month for ultra sounds on my elbow and X-rays for the pain in my shoulders. They are talking about a titanium elbow then I will be all set. I will be able to cue like a normal person.

I will tell you one thing I have to really pay attention as I follow through because the weight is almost behind my hand and the tip wants to come up now. On a close to the cushion shot my hand is right at the 3/4 joint. Trying to master the position by feel where my hand should be then very slow back swing but 3 to 4" is going to be it.

Well that post has made all this pointless lol. Just try your best Les, if you are physically not able to do a longer backswing there is not much that can be done, just try and keep it relaxed and get through the ball the best you can.

Les, that's taken on your final backswing. Are you saying you can't pull the cue back anymore than that? Your arm looked further back than that before anyway before you got it verticle.

Yep. If you see Les just standing. His arm is almost vertically straight. In that image his elbow is at 90 degrees. He could extend that right back.

                  • WEEK FIVE: 15 reds clearance.

Right, the goal this week is to clear the 15 reds from the positions shown in the picture. You must carry on until all the balls are gone, and count how many times you miss. So, place the white anywhere, then try and clear. Every time you miss you must carry on from where the balls are until all the Reds are gone.

Obviously the ideal would be that you clear all 15 without missing at all. When you first start, you might clear, but miss 10 times. Obviously then, your targer would be to try and clear, but only miss 9 times.

                    Good luck everybody!

Ted I am going to work on things as I go. My back swing will never be what everyone would like to see but we all have to be different. My goal is to get my bridge closer to the CB keep my cue arm parallel and slow down my back swing. Looking forward to this next challenge.
