What's that suppose to mean. I have all the time in the world until the warm weather gets here. Just finished four attempts at the new challenge. Two misses twice so that is my record to beat. You guys will be so impressed with my new stroke. Big rear pause before I pull the trigger. Tomorrow I will put a video.

    • He means you are too busy uploading videos when you haven't progressed at all Les !
It takes more than a few nights to advance Les, maybe you should think in terms of months not days before you will see significant improvements

        • Reading some of your latter posts Les it looks to me like you reached your level and your determination to play better you have had your natural game dismantled by to much theory and now you're struggling to string three balls together, go back to basics and start potting again is my advice.

I wish i had £1 for every 30-40 break builder who has ruined their game this way, i'd have my own 12ft table with bar and swimming pool with page three girls serving me cocktails.
It's hard to pot balls with a Chimpanzee tea party going on in your head

Funny you mention that. I had a couple hours first thing this morning so I thought I would get some practice in. After trying every stroke under the sun and now cannot make a simple pot I have gone back to what feels natural but slowed everything down and trying to make it smoother. My old way got me through the colour clearance, the other routines just fine and I felt I was improving. If I was 20 I would start from scratch.

Yep good analogy - everyone trying to help him is good but also counter productive too - I think the routines and targets are a good way to progress and set improvements in motion though it is a long road and a lot of sometimes frustrating effort - Perhaps Les you are just better off just going with what you have and enjoying it and just try and find your happy place let me try and explain it visually in a way les might like - Happy Gilmore Reminds me of Les - Shooter MaGavin reminds me of someone else I wont mention.

Some people in snooker can smack in the long difficult ones quite well and yet miss the more simple stuff which frustrates the most at first.

                        • Don't get me wrong Les you might go to a tournament early on trying really hard and well nothing goes right and you cant pot a thing and people have a dig and you feel embarrassed.

Stay focused and work with what I have the same as I did with golf. If nothing was working then how come I was able to get through the challenges. Because I ran into trouble with black challenge it was time to die sect my whole game. I should not have let that happen. My biggest problem is concentration and believing in my own natural ability. Power of positive thinking. If think you are going to hook the ball in the pond there is a really good chance you will. If you think you are going to miss the pot there is a really good chance you will.
