I would try cutting down on your practice but put it into a routine - you have the luxury of your own table so do say just one or two hours a night -
One hour must be focused - the other relax and enjoy yourself works on things and have a laugh - snooker is fun - if you make it too much of an effort you can switch off or go off it - your not after turning pro you just trying to get better - you seem an all or nothing kind of guy but it might go better for you when you turn the snooker room light off go upstairs and switch off from snooker and focus a routine around doing it.
Try and create habits in practice methodology like this and stick to routines of practice on the table and routines off it.
Which do you think is better Les? - think about it - one hour of focused practice - or four hours of knocking balls around?
Anyway - I leave this thread now and good luck Les - I tried my best - Motivation is a two way street but not much in the way of traffic coming back the other way and I do understand don't worry - lots of voices saying do this and that - you listen to what you think is best.
Byrom is outta here
