The only time you need my special B & W 54" cue that TD fit for me is a dead straight shot on the rail. Actually a very nice cue.

Sound like a joke to me, he's hardly hosting Tournements on a weekly basis is he, a 9ft table would destroy the old fella and for the routines he's doing I haven't seen one video where he looks tight & if he has it's certainly not a regular thing.

        • if your changing cues for just off cushion shots your on the wrong table or your in the wrong room

          • Ha. Leo and me went through this a while back, I beleive the lack of room is the cause of Les hunched up stance and short stabby action. He played his best snuker(a bit of Canadian for you there ) when he had his ten foot table, he has said himself he got through the ball much better, and I think it's because he had more room ,could stand back a bit get his back flatter and pull his cue back nicely without the fear of hitting the wall anything within eight inches of the cush around the black spot and it looks like it would be tight with a decent backswing.
This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

You must have cheered them up no end when you turned up
It's hard to pot balls with a Chimpanzee tea party going on in your head

                • the first kid i went to go and see his dad was the mayor of the village and he had his table setup in an old school on the third floor for some reason. we went through some moves and then we did some long blues. i noticed that the baulk end was up to my hip and the black end was about two inches lower to the top of my leg. i though what plank would think this would be okay. then we did some blacks and that had the same problem from one side of the table to the other, so now im thinking this is hopeless.. i stuck with this lad for a while but it turned out 'after me saying whats going on with you man' he would only go in there and smash in some long blues for half and hour after school, wait for it ''cos he didn't like walking around the table, it made him feel sick// the other kid had one in the basement and the down pipe from upstairs ran over the blue spot so when your on a break you had to duck while walking around, i never went back. lovely family though.. other lad built his in the attic and you needed to open the skylight to break off

After a while you will be able to squizee all of them in as you will take less time to do well or complete at higher rate. Since I started them I knock 20 - 30 regular in matches. Since I started to do the black routine I am surprised to miss a black of the spot rather than hope for it to go in. Dont forget about all balls spread for a warmup - any miss take two out and try to clear, 15 reds and lineup too. Do some practice spreads to knock a high brake, it helps for confidence if you can knock a 50 odd it helps knowing you can do it. Cheers
Yes your right, I have a book which I a have been putting all the challenges in. Yes I agree with you on the black. Even though I only got to 13 and had a rough week but I have noticed when I am down in the black area I now know what I need to do to move the cue ball around and I no longer think about missing the black. Speaking of challenges we still have not seen Ted on here with our new challenge.

Yes I agree with you as I have been playing at least three matches a day since last Sunday and I am averaging at least one break per game over 20 and the odd 30's I usually throw the Reds out and just put balls then I do two different challenges then I play three tough games against myself.

I would agree if it happened on a regular basis but it doesnt. That's the first time I have used my custom cue during a challenge. Question for you J6 what are you suppose to when you are tight on the rail. Answer lift your butt of your cue to make solid contact, grip very loose and choke up on your cue. Well this cue is only 4" shorter than a standard cue with a Ronnie O'Sullivan Elkmaster Tip on it. I have actually tried playing with it. TD actually ordered it for himself but when it came the shipping company broke the tip off.

                          • WEEK SIX: 2 reds with blue.

Right, the goal this week is to pot two reds with blues. You must start with the balls as shown in the image and then try to clear the table.

If you manage to pot both reds and get on the blue nicely from the last red, then put the two reds back up before the final blue, and see how many times you can manage it without missing or falling out of position. So just keep looping if that makes sense, but without ever moving the white.

                            Good luck everybody!
