FIX! only kidding, well done Les
"KISS" what is that?
after a quick look at the site, I think all the images could be a LOT smaller, so you can see the content on the page without having to scroll down all the time.
I only see a few matches (no results as yet)
as I say, maybe a new thread so not to bulk up Les' challenges thread with undue posts :wink:Up the TSF! :snooker:

i agree. when you click on a link, you don't realise the info is below, the pictures stay on top of the page and they are large. you have to scroll down to see the info.
maybe the images could be smaller and on the home page, however i don't see why they would still be there when a link is clicked.
the information should come first. then if you want to add a few images you can below.Last edited by alabadi; 2 March 2015, 01:23 PM.

Les and I have talked about the website and when he gets some time (believe me he needs all the time he can with practice) he will be reducing the size of the pictures to where no scrolling is required and he will also be changing the layout of the home page to give clear and concise links to the info the player is looker for.
But as Les noted above, so far we have had no complaints regarding our format and the Blacks and Red playing their peers for the first two matches. I did get a complaint from Sharkster though regarding the cueball fouls only. His question was what if the cue hits a colour when on a red and pots the colour. The answer was the colour ball is replaced but then I asked him how many times he has done that in his life. Our rules are commonly used in handicapped tournaments here in Canada and although I might not agree with them our purpose here is to encourage players to come out and the MISS rule along with the 'all fouls IBSF rules' have tended to discourage players along with the waistcoat rules for the Ontario Snooker Association regular tournaments.Terry Davidson

[QUOTE=Terry Davidson;828292]Les WON HIS FIRST MATCH EVER!!! He beat Pat Graham 3-2 (after being up 2-0). I lost my second match to Robin Petersen 3-2 after being up 2-1.
Well done Les, look forward to hearing more about your win and how you played. Had a feeling you were going to have a good weekend, all your hard work paying off. Great confidence builder for you.
Cheers Ricky

I haven't checked yet this morning but tournament results will be put up at 'ontariosnooker.club' under the 'News' link. This is our new website and we're looking to make some improvements as we've discovered snooker players need a website which uses the 'KISS' principle since there were a lot of questions regarding playing times (2 players showed up an hour late) and other questions regarding rules and all of that is on our website but the players just don't check it out very well. This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

I have a daft brain that remembers trivial facts, maybe that's how I remember who I make breaks against while others seem to get muddled up or just cant remember, or it might be I haven't had enough decent breaks to forget lol. This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!
