Ok, I was going to go, but you've gone too far now. This will result in a counter thread about poor, ungentlemanly behaviour you know? Solar panels is getting well above the roofline. You should see my chimney stack. Coat please....................

actually I think it's far more likely to result in a counter thread discussing your and pottr's mental age ... grow up please gentlemen, smutty schoolboy playground talk isn't as clever/funny as you both clearly think it is ...

pottr, Master Blaster and j6uk ... please take your sleazy discussion to off-topic chat or (even better) another forum ... I don't mind a bit of boy's banter on occasion and have probably posted a bit of "adult innuendo" myself but you lot are going way over the top ...
and im sure if you had your own table you'd go about things the same way, your a good reference that others players should take note..
i know your on another level but it would be good to see you two doing the odd challenge together. we know he can pot but i don't remember seeing les play a shot at pace so the long blue screw would be a starting point
You are right there, I love practice and try and play as much as I can. I am constantly improving in different areas some quicker than others, but non the less still going in the right direction.
I am hungry and won't stop until I get what I want from this game

if i had my own table, i would be further ahead of where i am now, i would split each day into several practice sessions working on specific areas and keep doing them one by one until i was consistent with one before moving on to more advanced level.
to be honest if the club i play at was even closer to where i live i would probably go there every day even if it was for an hour. the fact i have to drive 10 miles there is just not feasible to go daily, so i go twice a week , that's all i can manage so far
yeah love that, such an important shot to have under the sack. it really sorts out whos gonna be a nice player.
and as you know giving that the respect it deserves day in and out it changes you completely technically so your giving every single shot in front of you the same thing
Nice work. That is a shot I have major trouble with. Not the long blue but screw it back. From that position I am lucky if I can get a foot if screw back. I know it is all in the follow through.

You've got no backswing, Les. So you just can't possibly generate the acceleration needed and also, be accurate. It's like asking you to drive the golf ball as far as you can, but you can only bring the club back half a foot, isn't going to happen.
