It was a joke, a terraced house here you can't swing a cat around with a non existent front garden and a back garden where the whole street can see you.

          • Les and I are still working on getting our own association (ontariosnooker.club) affiliated with the national governing body (CBSA). We met on June 16 and were told a decision between us and the old organization would happen the next day. The next day we got word the decision wouldn't be made for at least a week.

Here we are at July 30th and still no decision. Although Les has been working hard on his 'Turtle Hollow' practice facility I have been working on getting our association (officially called Ontario Billiards & Snooker Association - OBSA) registered as a Not-For-Profit corporation which is one of the mandatory guidelines from the national body. Of course I didn't fill out the first 2 submissions EXACTLY correctly so after some help via telephone and email with the Ministry I finally submitted a 3rd lot of paper which should do the job.

We hope to become affiliated and hold our first tournament at The Corner Bank on Sept 12th and have an AGM at the same time. It's been a trip but we can only hope we are successful. I've also applied to become a Director with the national organization and I'm waiting for word on that too.

If you live on the end of the terrace you can call it a semi-detatched. Then you're posh.

Well some things never change, j6uk you always make me laugh. Nice to hear from all you guys. A little over a month from now and I will be snooker bound complaining about how I can't run the colours, throwing up videos of my ugly quick jabbing cue action and wishing I had of continued with my snooker practice for the summer.... But for now golf is where it's at. I am playing in the Ontario Public Players Championship Sept 1 & 2

                            • Jeez, they get a lot of space for their bucks over there. It's very tempting, they're short of highly skilled............

But how could I cope without English Summers? I know, my own snooker table and then golf if the snooker is poo. Lovely set-up Les. Maple syrup and bluberries by the barrel load, and possibly even some maple bog-wood........ahhhhhhh

At his age and having a snooker room in his house and along with Terry trying to sort a new Canadian snooker association i would have to disagree with you there Ted
