That's great Les, it must be gratifying to see some progress. I had some practice on saturday, my first for a few weeks. I was seeing the ball and pockets a lot better, and definitely started to pot better with more authority......still a bit ropey and over working my position. Still, i managed 8 reds on the line up, which is pretty good for me.
Still no clearance, so there is no point me actually doing it. Apparently.

I have come to realize I am actually not bad at seeing the angles to make pots but when you leave yourself so far out of position two or three times in a row even Ronnie could not get me back in the game....
I very much admire your willingness to expose yourself to scrutiny, and to take the good and bad thrown at you with equal grace. That's a sportsman, that is...and I like to see your improvement and enjoyment in the game.

The big part is the thought process, knowing the angles, judging the pace...I've got a long way to go, but I think there's light at the end of the tunnel.

On another note played our little three game Tuesday night match winning all three easily but no big breaks tonight but a lot of mid 20's and a 31. Back to the line up tomorrow night." Practice to improve not just to waste time "

GeordieDS,
You can ignore the trolls on here if you are looking for help. Unfortunately these forums will always have keyboard warriors trying to put you down for their own gratification. It's a sad existence but it happens. Just sit back and laugh at it and treat them for the melons they are.
As you know there is some great advice on here from knowledgable people who have helped Les a lot. They can do the same for you.
If not pick a couple of people out and PM them. I'm sure they will be glad to help.
All the best
