That pleased me as Much as potting 15 reds and blacks. I'm hoping I can do a bit more today and continue the good form before my Quarter final match tomorrow in a cup competition I entered.
I would say no matter how you did it that is good potting. I have a video up loading right now and I am not sure how many i made but I made some great pots to make sure I landed on a different red. At least in my mind they where great pots...LOL My last red I just hit it with two much bottom as I wanted to swing the cue ball around the black. Loving this Challenge.

Nice video Les, you look like you are actually enjoying it. Technique looking much more solid and getting good position from your shots. I borrowed this challenge from ted to give to my mate, he didn't do as well as you but I think I set the reds up a couple inches closer to the side cushions. The high reds I put in line with the black and the black pocket side jaw.

It's amazing how winning one game off the eventual winner of our last tournament can boost ones confidence. I didn't just beat him either he needed three snookers going into the colours. I just tried what Ted talked about. Clear each red with a black and then reset them all after last red and continue. I made seven blacks. Interesting figuring out how to get shape on the two reds on the cushion. I would love to see more some videos from other players.

as long as theres nothing fundamentally wrong with your technique snooker, imho, is all in the head. Amazing what a little confidence can do

                          • i like this exercise however , for me its about concentration. as long as the cue ball control is right then its a matter of focus.

i can't tell you the amount of times i have had 9 10 or 11 reds/black and landed exactly in the same position as any one of the previous shots and missed its unreal.

after playing the same shot over and over it can make the mind wander and lose some focus. i found it very tiring.

and those tiny fractions in position make a huge difference. that little bit extra force to get the same position can cause a problem as i have found out on many occasions.

                            • Good video les.

I actually shouted in my head 'Where's the cueball going!'

I do'nt wanna interfere with this as I know Ted is your coach .
But it's the first time I see that you are not afraid to strike the ball. keep it that way.
Strike the ball with confidence. Even if you miss ( No problem ). Try again.
If you want to worry about missing the pot , do it after you take the shot . NOT BEFORE !!
play the game / strike the ball with a clear mind.
                                I'm Not a coach . Just my opinion .
Great stuff . Looking forward to see more and learn something from you.
