Thanks, yes he did. I have them all printed and put in a binder with a few blank note papers after each one to jot notes down. Just started Sunday working my way through them and dwelling on my common mistakes. My main mistake on routine 2 and 3 is not getting the CB high on the Black.
I need help with one major problem. Screw shot of any kind is a total miscue. I have Cue Balls flying off the table.

How's the Westbury playing Les? Would be good to see a pic or two for the members to drool over! Good to hear you are giving the game some of your time again. As the days get shorter and colder in the UK my mind turns more and more towards snooker! ?

Plenty on here already about the screw shot, you're probably just a bit rusty and with practice you will be hitting a much better shot.

Thanks, LOL I am not sure if I would call it quality time but I have spent hour after hour practicing. Now I am back at it again. Time to get back at my routines.

                    • Good to see you back Les, just a question. What cloth are you currently using? I recently bought Precision on sale and gotta tell you...best decision I ever made. Im sure Terry would agree If you havent tried it yet, deff recommend.

I have 6811 and with it brushed, blocked and ironed regularly along with under table heaters it is beyond fast. Like playing on a sheet of glass. Terry had the Percision on his and it was awesome but wore out very quickly. Why are you not competing in our qualifiers?

Tbh I had the exact opposite exp with 6811 but we most likely have different humidity levels. I like the fact that precision doesnt need to be ironed regularly and still maintains its speed. And yea dont play in too many events, work weekends and wont start competing seriously until I feel i can actually win

You have to compete before you can win

Exactly, you learn from playing. At least that is what I am trying to do. Floyd won on the weekend which included a total clearance of 130. I am sure you could learn a lot watching someone of his caliber.

I'm not sure where you're getting that from Les as my Precision kept its speed until it was replaced. I did iron it a bit once it got a little older and worn (sort of like me).
