You got that right Byrom. When I make it down to play with Oma I need points and lots of them.... table looks great and your game also looks great. I have know idea what you have for cloth but if you get yourself and iron and start brushing, blocking and ironing you might be surprised how it will speed up. My guess it has not been looked after like a lot of tables. If you cannot afford a real iron then buy yourself a regular iron set it on wool setting and NO STEAM or WATER and just keep at it. I brush and block mine after every use and iron normally three times a week. Also I have just found out this week if you use a China white pencil to mark out the lines it stays real well. I have been using a white Peardon pencil but it brushes right off. I can't wait to see your table. Maybe next week.

                Oma:

You should be playing in our tournaments. I think you have everything you need and it's just practice, practice, practice for you to improve.

                Les:

Note Oma's backswing and grip. On most power shots the ferrule is coming back to the 'V' and the elbow has dropped at the end of the backswing, similar to Ronnie. That long backswing is a great help if a player can control it.

Yes BIG IF. But he is in in his 20's and I am in my 50's I am trying but the farther back I take it the more I loose control of both speed and missing Potts.

What does that mean Les? Lose control of speed.

TD wants me to lengthen my back swing back to the V from my short little back swing. When I do this it does not feel right and I cannot control the speed and I loose my accuracy. Watching Cliff right now in a tournament. In his front pause his tip is 4" away from CB and then he pulls the cue back an inch from there. But that's Cliff.

We have a player that plays like that, cues about four inches from the cueball, and he is no Cliff either

Thanks dude! I'm sure those points wont be necessary And thats a really good idea, I was wondering about how one would Iron it.....think ill just use my moms clothes iron haha. I brushed it down and even vacuumed over it last night, was really surprised at how much nap it collected....just goes to show how many little specs of that stuff is on the surface that we dont see...it must get in the way even if its really small. As for the markings, the previous owner put some sort of stickers on the spots so its marked pretty well, should be okay for now. And yea man definitely come by if youre around!
