Any ton break usually needs certain elements to go right - pack splitting making cannons soft stuns around the pink and black good keep - it - simple- positional shots maybe a few great long pots and usually a colour clearance at the end.

The hard work is is the head staying focused still on the shot and in a nice rhythm - and the bit you don't have just yet - belief in yourself. Keep telling yourself you have had more than a dozen in practice on your own so just a matter of time before it clicks against someone - goes up in stages - start getting the odd 70 80 90 and then this belief rises.

You are practising right it will happen bit of luck and a matter of time - when it does stay in the rhythm and timing and focus on just that.

Well done lad, just keep at it and you'll improve... It's the only formula

Don't put so much emphasis on the number... Consistent scoring trumps one big score after all.

Just in from a good sesh with my pal who doesn't score right lol, no big breaks but every time I got in the balls I stuck in a thirty of forty, in one frame he had a high fifty break and I beat him with a forty odd and a thirty odd clearance at the end. I was very unlucky sometimes ,one example on forty one got black in bottom pocket could just play for two reds above it or play off the bottom cush and split the three reds that are round the pink and I can't fail but to be on the Reds above the black, I went for the split(looking past the fifty)potted the black missed the reds ,landed on nothing lol.
This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!
