  • What is your private receipe for entering the zone?

As all of you has experienced before, there was a time when you played really smoothly, because somehow you entered into a zone where your cue action was good on every shot, concentration was good; your rythm was good; and nothing can distract you and your mind and eyes are on the table.

As we all know too, it is hard to enter this zone, or even know what it is? Perhaps it is a mystery.

Do you have a personal receipe to help yourself to enter the zone? Both in tournaments and practise i mean.

The isn't one. You either go into the zone or you don't. As you get better you don't need to be in "the zone" to play good snooker. When you're in "the zone", it just means you're playing at the top of your game for a bit. Doesn't happen very often though.

the only time you go in to the zone is when you are not thinking about it or have no intensions of hitting the zone yes it is that crazy. You can't do it on your own, yes you can try to relax and focus and concentrate on the pot ... that is it... it comes to you while you do not intend for it to come ..

Agree. Comes now and again but usually to do with natural ability too
                          Always a pleasure

No receipe. It is nice to be able to play at peak of your abilities, completely pressure free, but I do not think you can win important matches this way. Reason is that this feeling cannot possibly last very long, especially not with regular club players. And matches can be very long. What you need is super strong average game, and not praying for your absolute best stuff..
